Is there a way to repair the Mercury fuel fitting to stop it from leaking?  Must be an O-ring or a seal in there that the ball pushes up against when you disconnect.  Is there a replacement?  How do you get at it?

Not sure about Merc fittings but here’s a Scott McCulloch fitting apart for O ring servicing.  Heat had to be used to loosen the sealer holding the two main parts together.

This fitting also fits the small Merc motors so it might be similar in construction.

I’ll try heat and see if I can get it apart…while I buy a new one.   : )

              Thanks for the responses.

Came apart easy with some heat.  The older thread suggests dash 205 o-rings.  Any suggestion on ethanol/fuel resistant o-rings? Good source?
