      Has anyone found a technique to separate the rubber element from metal disc of the Early Mercury K Model Clutch Assembly? I would like to restore the clutches for reuse. Prying and pulling worked on one assembly, but, not on these 3. Boiling, Freezing, Vinegar soak WD40 are under consideration.

        1. Not sure this is true but I don’t think it ever was intended to come apart there. Clutch release was acomplished by the notched part hopping over a bump when an obstruction was hit
