Tower got a good cleaning before spraying.
No primer. Matt finish appears a little brighter
than in the pictures but not glossy. Used
it on this motor in 2017. Then gave the motor
to a friend who has used it quite a bit. It shows
that its seen some use but has held up pretty
well considering it’s just being used as an
outboard motor. Looking forward to this summer
when we will both have one.

Was on the boat for 34 days. One day I didn’t get out at all.
The rest out 1 to 3 times a day – weather permitting.
Ran 56 gallons of gas at 3 oz oil per gal.
This motor has 90 & 95 lbs compression.
I had another that had 110 lbs. +.
        Comparing the 2—–
Pulling it over – BIG !!!!! difference, this motor is nothing
        compared to the first one.
Motor starting – No difference – Both start right up.
Slow and mid-range – no noticeable difference.
Top Speed – same boat – everything in the boat is the same
        except I’m a bit heaver.
Not the same prop but the same number- blades – pitch.
        First motor 25.2 . This motor 23.7 .
The loss of 1.5 isn’t really noticeable at speed but the loss
of power is. It takes longer to get up on plane and to reach
        its top speed.
Still was a lot of fun. Glad I bought it.
Found a few minor issues that will need to be address.
Lost a piece out of one of my props but no new dents.
Time to put on something else.
