      Try Brake Klean. Peels grease/crud off magneto assembly is seconds. No Residue.

        Another vote for BrakeKleen or most aerosol brake and parts cleaner for that matter. It does a good job of cutting the greasy gunk amd usually doesn’t hurt the original paint if you are a little bit careful. I use that stuff a lot.
