If for display, you’ll be fine with that. However, for an actual motor you’ll use on a boat, you might be better off finding something specific to your setup. With a 5/8 shaft, you must have a D motor. Find something for a hydro or runabout (utility) as there is a difference. If you want something that will really perform, call one of the prop guys (Craig Dewald, Ron Hill, etc.) and tell them what you’ve got for a motor & boat, and they can set you up – for a price.
