I don’t normally buy motors I know nothing about but I just couldn’t resist. I went to buy a 1948 Sportwin and also ended up with this Mighty Mite WC1. I paid $150 for it but I don’t think it has ever been run. The guy I bought it from purchased it 15 years ago and used it as an office display but never ran it. The top of the piston is shiny clean and I opened the float bowl and the float is brand new. The fuel tank does have some surface rust so I’ll have to clean it. The WC1 was made from 1960 to 1969 so I’m not sure how to determine the year it was made. Any Mighty Mite experts out there? IMG_20220619_094310

Nice find!   It would have been hard to leave it behind.

I checked compression today and got 83psi. I assume that is good for this little one cylinder motor?
