I bought a lot of several engines and in the lot was a Sears Gamefisher 9.9hp. This is definitely not an engine I wish to work on or keep. (It’s in bad cosmetic shape (missing a prop and hood) but most mechanical parts appear to be in good condition, so I’m going to part it out on E-bay really cheap to maybe help some folks out.
Before I start to disassemble the engine, I’d like to know what model year I’m working with. The model number is: 225 587991 and the s/n is: 1495.
I’m thinking early nineties but I’m just not sure.
Might someone out there have a handle on the model year of this Gamefisher?
    Thanks,
    Drifter

Rather than deal with the fees and problems of FleaBay, why don’t you offer it on our own webvertize and see if you can help some of our membership first? I think that motor is a Force/Chrysler and we have several folks who like them.

Now..That’s a great idea! I feel a bit ashamed that I didn’t think of that. I’ll do it. Folks on here have been real kind to me and it gives me a chance to return the favors.
