Sounds like something Ole Evinrude would do.

I remember when I was a kid about 8 or 9 years old, (50 + years ago) living on the Mississippy River in Guttenberg Iowa my dad was running airboats taking people to their favorite ice fishing hot spots. I saw one of these running and I thought they were cool! They called them "ice scratchers". I would like to find one for my collection. To my knowledge, they were home made. I don’t remember any company that manufactured them.

                Maybe it’s this guys motor.

It seems to do everything except let the cat out at night.

Those things are pretty interesting. This is the first time I ever seen these brought into the topics here. Can you post some pics to your new acquisition.?

Yea not a single mention of connecting the exhaust to the outside world. I guess they just assumed that people were smart enough to do that, however since this is posted in the public area of the site and some dummy might actually try this (yea I know no one would actually do this…..right?? but when the entire surface of the gas tank and most of the covers on my son’s quad are covered in warnings that are for the most part what us old guys say is common sense…..) please take this to heart: THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY STUPID THING TO DO AND IF YOU DO IT YOU WILL DIE AND IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT!!!!

Sure would be relaxing, sitting on that couch, smoking your pipe,
and listen to that contraption hum.

                        Prepare to be boarded!
