      Does this look like a 1964, 40 HP motor cover? Others I have seen do not.

        I believe that’s a 1965.

          I’d say it’s a ’65 to. The 64’s had a different style decal.

            That motor cover has been refinished to the 1965 bigtwin styling… But, that doesn’t mean the engine is a 1965 unit….
