I picked this up yesterday and the only stamp I can find on it is A44G. I was hoping I could get some help identifying it.
      Thanks
      Alan

A mixture of a 29 Speeditwin with a 28 exhaust and homemade exhaust tube ?
I have a 29 in the basement I’ll look at shortly.

It is later than ’29 based on the manifolds. What does the model/serial number say?

I can’t find any model or serial number tag. The only numbers stamped on it are A44G.

I thought later 29 speeditwins all had the cast exhaust/muffler.
Is there a casting number visible on the carb?
My model 143 29 Speeditwin has an MS11Y on the carb starboard side.
The ID tag if it has one should be on the starboard side of the transom clamp.

Perhaps a home brew racer. The prop has a pretty good pitch to it.
