I’m looking for the part number for the “adjusting lever/shaft assy” for a 1955 johnson QD-16. I have catalogs for 1953 model (375976) and the 1957 model (376921). The part in question went through a couple design changes between those years. Marine Engine does not have parts diagrams for 1955.
Anybody got a picture of the “lower unit and steering handle group” page for the year 1954 or 1955 QD? Thanks for any help!
ScottHere’s a pic of the part. It’s gotta have those ridges on it.
Let me know if anyone has one you can spare? It’s for a father/son project of a friend of mine.- This topic was modified 3 years, 8 months ago by opposedtwin.

July 29, 2020 at 10:46 pm #210355p/n is 376306 and is still a good number. I do not have one
July 29, 2020 at 10:56 pm #210357I don’t think that’s it Ed. When I put that part number in at Marine Engine, it comes back with a gear shaft. Although I guess they could have the wrong part under that number……..

July 29, 2020 at 11:49 pm #210365Hmm….that may be it. Did you get that number from the or QD-15 or QD-16 parts catalog? Marine Engine doesn’t have a picture of it so I’m not sure if it’s the right one.

So, the 1954 model would be a QD-15 and the 1955 would be a QD-16, right?
