I have a with no sn or model id. Has what appears to be neptune transom bracket. Rewind is missing but looks like an omc shiv. 2cylinder inline with plugs on side of head and cast cover that swings away for plug access. Any idea what year model or horsepower?? Jon666

I am not familiar with the Neptunes, but their alternate firing twin was built in the early 1940s. Evinrude built a 5 horse Lightwin Imperial in the mid ’30s and Johnson had the 4,5 horse AA and decendents and the 9.8 horse model KA.

Does the power head stay stationary while the lower unit turns?
          Pictures if you can.
