I just finished putting my 1945 Neptune 15B2 (2hp) back together starts right up. When bought it did not have a prop or nut bought a set prop fits great but nut does not thread on. Threads look fine. Anyone have an idea what thread it should be?

The 1936 4 hp here in my shop is 1/2-13. Does that help?

checked things out tonight 1/2×13 standard coarse thread. Put new shear pin on with prop nut and new cotter pin ready for the test tank tomorrow. Starts easily so will see how it pumps water and let it run for a while.
