      I’ve got a Neptune A2 outboard with no spark. Seems the spark plug wire is corroded. Is this easily replaced? It was stored in a carport and was surprised the spark was gone. I did replace a bad wire. I’ll double check my continuity again Saturday.

        Your points probably needs to be polished up. If you do replace the spark plug wire, don’t solder it to the coil. Just wrap it onto the lug. The heat from soldering could damage the coil. Use only copper core spark plug wire. You can get this at a lawn mower shop or auto parts store.
