This was given to my father when I was a youngster. I tried to make it run back in 70’s. No luck, but I saved it and two others from scrap heap. With some help from Doug Penn, it now runs. Tank was crushed , but I managed to straighten it out. I now need advice on decal. It is stick on vinyl. Do I just stick it on or do I scuff tank , clear, scuff , decal and re clear. Paint was rustoleum enamel.
      Any advice would be appreciated.

use a mix of water and soap before installing the decals so you can move them and get the bubbles out. others can tell you more.

Thanks for the advice. Have you ever cleared over the stick on vinyl decals?

            Search You Tube for
            "installing vinyl decals"

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
