Better hope the pump takes prime before the engine overheats!
        Neat, but guessing it’s LOUD!

        Prepare to be boarded!

same magneto and style of rope plate as used on the 1940 Detroiter four-cycle twin, only difference I see up top is the Detroiter used a square flywheel nut, this pump engine uses one with two flats on it a la the Evinrude Speeditwin…..

He's livin' in his own private Idaho..... I hope to go out quietly in my sleep, like my grand-dad did..... and not screaming, like the passengers in his car...

The cylinder heads don’t look quite right for a Master, either. But they may have been an Edwards design for better cooling.

Looks like the cylinder head is in the right place if the engine was vertical. They must have had to relocate the water outlets on the cylinders to avoid an air pocket in the water jacket.
