A good friend gave me this 1947 Johnson HD25 2.5 hp and 1967 Evinrude Fastwin 18 hp recently. While neither is a motor I would normally collect the condition of each is so remarkable that I am glad to add them to the fold. The HD is a proven runner. The Fastwin needs a colour matched tiller and the front hood latch if anyone has the parts to spare.

I don’t see the required dents in the hood of that HD. Looks nice.

Nice motors, The 18 is the exact year of the only new motor we ever had. That is also the only year that the motor was the same color. But Dad sold that one when he picked up a pair of 64 18 Johnsons to put on our new fishing boat. Always liked that motor. I have since picked one up but it needs work.

Great looking HD25. Lots of good info at: pochefamily.org/outboard. But note that the price for primer seals and installation instructions is very old. I had to raise the price to $10.00 a few years ago because it is getting very hard to find the proper oil tanned leather to make more. Good luck and have fun! 231-929-7479
