Not an outboard but an offshore Champion generator with a no start problem.
The owner said he had never checked or changed the spark plug so after cleaning the carb and using fresh gas, I thought I’d check the plug. Sure enough, there was the problem. A small piece of carbon was bridging the electrodes. This is something I don’t usually see in four strokers but it’s just another reason to make sure your plugs are clean and of the proper heat range in your outboard motor. 👀
