ohms reading 1940 mercury K4

Need the ohms readings for the coils of a Eisemann Model# 72H part# H24-896 magneto

If yours is the same type coil as the Maytag Eisemann coils, maybe this
information is good…..

The twin coil secondary has grounded centertap.
Thats why one side can fire with the other grounded.
Also, measure resistance across the detached spark plug leads and you will see 8k ohms. about 4k for each side of the coil.

I would think less than 1k or less ohms on the primary, but hopefully someone
will know for sure on your coil.
