      I have an OMC impeller that I removed from a motor that sat for five years without running.  It’s soft and flexible and has no damage hasn’t taken a hard set.  Wondering if anyone has tried to turn one over to get more use out of them.

        I would advise against flipping the impeller and running it that way.  OMC didn’t recommend it and the impeller (working in reverse) could break a blade.  If you have it apart and are not sure, replace the impeller as it is cheaper than ruining your motor due to overheating.
