I have three different sizes of these tanks. I think they are 4 gal 5 gal and 6 gal. The largest tank I thinks is from early 50″s. Not sure of capacity. As always thanks for your help and stay safe
The 3 gallon tank Frank mentioned is not a pressure tank per the title of your post. OMC used pressure tanks on some models through 1959. The 4 and 6 gallon ones were used from the mid 1950s through 1959. 6 gallon tanks from 1957 up had a plastic primer button instead of metal. I’ve never heard of a 5 gallon pressure tank. Was the 5 gallon the earliest tank that was shaped a bit different? or an aftermarket tank?

I have some of the early model tanks that have the baffle plate inside. Also have the two other size mile master tanks. My mistake thought the earlier model was a bigger tank. Thanks all . Thanks Mumbles. Being a Canuck myself glad they are not in Metric still have not figured that out..
Thats the way we mixed the gas for all the outboards at our resort Quart to Five gallons for old Pint to Five for new.
160 ozs in Imp gallon 40 ozs in a quart 20 ozs in pint.

I mix gas for most motors the same way – these methods with the 5 gallon can give 20 to 1 and 40 to 1 mix ratios – very convenient and close enough to 25 to 1 and 50 to 1, and a little extra oil never hurts.
I use the 20 to 1 in some 16 to 1 motors. I double the oil for anything I run n a hydroplane.
