I was intrigued the other day by the photo posted of
the vintage outboard motor bike, and I find another
one, albeit of much simpler design!
      This link says it’s a 1943 article.
Any guesses on what air cooled outboard it is?

Another one, this time from 1931!

A front wheel friction drive contraption.
      What kind of motor?

There was a Tricycle powered by TWO air cooled outboards at Tomahawk this year.

Garry, I did see the outboard, twin powered, bike at Tomahawk zip by,
but never seen it again to examine or take photos. I mostly
remember that it was loud, lol.

Now we know where Solex got their design idea from… http://www.oldbike.eu/museum/wp-content … _45_03.jpg

If you have too many, AND not enough, you're a collector.

Here is one with an auxiliary fuel tank. Probably burned nitro.

                    CHICKEN POWER!
I have one. Have not tried to get it to run but it has good compression.

Tubs, that "sounds" like the same Elgin hot rod I seen at Tomahawk this year!
The Johnson shifters is a nice touch!

I love it! Everyone of these bikes are great. I like the chicken power motor, too. So cool. I have kick start washing machine motor in the shed. I wonder if I can make my own 2 stroke bicycle? Anyone got a spare trike? 🙂
