I looking for some paint recommendations for my 1946 Johnson SeaHorse. It is the mist green. I know I need to use an etching primer after cleaning and sanding. The other recomendation I read was to use a urethane clear because of the gas. I don’t mind mixing reducer, color, and hardener, and then the clear. Where can I get good quality paint. I really don’t want to try and color match. Thanks alot, I really enjoy looking around and reading up.

I’ve always used paint from North York Marine with great results.   Excellent quality paint materials and exact factory color matches

Thank you very much. That is what I was looking for. By the way, I like your signature about the broken bolt. Ain’t that the truth!  Has happened to me many a time.
