      First time replacing coils. Can someone tell me which wire connects to the screw by the points???? Where do I connect the other wire??? This is on a KG7.

        black wire to points other wire to ground

            The lamination stack of Phelon magnetos may be machined in place on magneto plate so
            it may be a good idea to service one coil at a time with due regard to top bottom left right.
            Whether this is the case or not (I believe it is) it is a good practice as well as good workmanship to replace everything so it will be as it was.
