      Martin Outboards were sold from 1946 till 1952 and offered in  2 – 4.5 – 7.2 -7.5 – 10 -17 & 20 hp. Try getting in contact with Russ at  https://martinoutboards.com/ . He may have some knowledge of the stands.    
       

      A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

        I agree with a previous post that these were made by Brinktun.

        They supplied motor stands in several sizes for various makes of outboard motor dealers.

        Sears also carried Brinktun stands in their catalogues to be sold as an accessory for Elgin outboards.

        A dealer may have added the Johnson nameplate to this stand.

        I have one just like it in Johnson Seafoam green.
