Yes, they did make motors in Hong Kong.  See chart previously posted. Original post says  “i am from Brunei Darussalam”.  Heck of a lot closer to Hong Kong than Belgium.  Not that that means anything. I dunno what to think now.

belgium is usually prefixed with a B

yes I agree yet the serial # format is odd.  does it mean sold in Belgium  yet made in HK… don’t know.

my son used to get bicyles made in China…. thet were tagged   “Designed in Canada”….  they would  put any tag you paid for !!
