A neighbor gave me this Michigan prop today, stamped as AJC-310. Just curious what motor(s) might have used this prop.

Too bad the catalogs in the Inner Sanctum aren’t indexed.

        Prepare to be boarded!

Exactly. There’s no index but I’ve been scouring through the many pages of catalogs and haven’t found it yet. Thought somebody might know but in the meantime I’ll keep looking. Nice to at least have the catalogs on file though.

See pic – the first digit is not totally clear but it looks like 310. The gentleman who gave it to me said he couldn’t remember what motor it was on but I know he used to race both OMC and Mercury motors back in the 1950s and 60s. Maybe that narrows down the search.

with 14 splines it would be a mercury mark 50 or maybe a very early mark 55 with 14 spline shaft.

Who used both spline drive and a cross pin? Was that a Scott or McCullough thing?
