Marineengine doesn’t ship to Canada anymore and even if they did, the cost would be prohibitive factoring in the exchange rate and shipping costs,  especialy with our CDN dollar currently hovering around .72 or .73 USD.  Yes, it is a good time for y’all to come up over the border and spend your tourist dollars but leave your bang bangs at home!

Where do you live Don, and do you have a BRP dealership near you as they can supply the 0584477 coils you need. If you really get stuck, I have some new ones here in my stash and also some cheaper Asian Zhongfads ones I could let go.  Located in Victoria BC.

Thanks, I am north of Toronto. I did locate a dealer that has OEM coils near me. Since my engines have sat for over 10 years, would you recommend replacing the condensers and points at the same time?  My current compression is 70PSI, is this acceptable, should I consider a bigger tear down, or part this one out?

I would probably replace the condensers but just clean the old points if they look OK.   The newer replacement points currently offered are not of the quality they used to be and fitment is often a problem.    70psi compression isn’t too bad, but if the motor has sat idle that long, it may be the piston rings are partially stuck.   Get it running with some good quality fuel and TCW-3 oil and the rings may loosen up and compression come up somewhat.
