        Retroprint wont send paint to Canada! I had an American member send me a painted strip to sample and had my own mixed up

          Duplicolor "Detroit Diesel Alpine Green" DE1618 seems to be quite correct.
          Here in Qc it’s even worse then other part of Canada to have basic products 🙂

          For a cheap motor like this, it will do the job.

            I work on mostly Scotts but it’s really hard to get parts especially impellers now that the Scott guy passed away. Paint is available. I’m working on a 1946 the same as yours but silver

              It seems the rubber rotor is the same as this Gale 🙂

                On mine. the bottom of the tank is quite curved, and doesn t match the bottom part under it.
                Wonder if this is the result of fixing the tank with delicate but persuasive hamerring.
                Do you have the same problem ?

                    I have heard that an OMC products can be converted to a Scott pretty easily. The 1951 10 hp can use an omc 6hp impeller, you just need to bore out the shaft diameter. That’s what a member in Florida used to restore his
