      What compression range should I look for in a used 51 Johnson RD-11 25hp? And what is the parts selection like for that model? I have a cd-13 that is in great shape and parts are relatively easy to get. Just wondering about the RD-11 that I’m going to look at tomorrow?

        I usually see between 90 to 120 or so on them. Depends on gauge, wear, etc….

            Josh,

            Ignition parts are standard OMC replacements. Carb kits available. Ebay or AOMCI for the other stuff.

            I ran my RD-16 yesterday for the first time on a boat in 25 years. What a rush.

            Look for compression between 90-110 or so like Chris says.
