          Thanks!

Silly me – I was searching only for Johnson and Evinrude!

If E Bay flops for some reason try Dan Gano at http://WWW.GANOTECH.COM. Dan has new old stock OMC parts & more,
            Good luck.

              Status if anybody is interested:

              – Bought the ebay piston and now the seller can’t find it!

              – Tried ganotech but he had already sold the last one

              – Another source shows inventory at a higher price than ebay guy. I’ll go with the higher price if the ebay guy still can’t find his

Burt came through with a new piston! Problem solved for that cylinder. Thanks for the help guys!
Different problem for cylinder #2 – heavy scoring – If that cylinder tests really low for compression, I may have to go oversize!
Haven’t seen any oversize pistons listed for that engine. Going to 40hp pistons would be a .125 increase in bore size.
                    That would be scary.
Waiting on new rod bolts, so I can button it up and do the compression check – fingers crossed.
