After looking at the pics, I took a look at one of my motors and it looks like ordering the #043548 and using the 1950’s/1960’s throttle cable end will work. There looks to be just enough space under the recoil starter (that sits off to the side of the powerhead) to hook up if I reroute the stop switch wires that go to the tiller. I may have to remove the block that anchors the tiller’s throttle cable that hooks up elsewhere.

Yes, there is no need to remove the recoil starter when the remote control kit is installed… Tight, but it will fit, just like most everything else on these engines…
