It seems to me you need to shop around. Unless the market for KE4/Mark 7 Mercurys has taken a sudden leap the numbers you mention are unrealistic.
Per Manual KE4 had Bendix while Mark 7 had Repco/Phelon. Coils are often an issue on both. Servicing either magneto does require some understanding of magnetos and of the brand you are working on. That said, if the upper crankcase seal is to be replaced. the Mercury Service Tools for removing and reinstalling the ,magnet rotor are worth having. Magnet rotor doe not respond well to prying and hammering. I have done it both ways and would never do it again without the tool set. Clever native craftsmen can do work arounds. Because the magnet rotor is a problem to remove and reinstall almost every KE4 will have a worn out upper seal (7415) Fuel mix that sprays thru a failed seal will foul the magneto and attract dirt.

He had posted a picture when he got the
flywheel off.
JordanSewruk – if your getting confused
you have the Phelon ignition.

March 20, 2022 at 9:29 am #256535seen your video before but I still marvel looking at it to solve a high price problem with commonly available coils 🙂
We are really fortunate that these coils can be substituted
in so many motors. There are motors that don’t have anything
to substitute a bad coil with at any price. But we are always
looking.

It doesn’t look like you are uploading your pictures thru our site? What format are you trying to load pictures with? When you are posting scroll down to bottom of post and click on select files then go from there.

His pictures appeared at posting but have
since disappeared. On some picture sights you
can select to have your images removed after
a set amount of time. Keeps from getting a large
file of pictures that you cant find anything in.
Other free sights delete images after a set time
if you don’t open an account. Maybe he just
wanted to remove them?
