Good day one and all. I received a boat and motor with trailer for free. The only sad part was it is a mercury. (black anchor).
So What I need is gaskets a seals to just SWAP the powerhead. No rebuild or nothing like that, just a swap job.

I have a parts book. I’m confused on what gasket and or seals to buy.

      Any body know of this?

I would start with a base gasket & maybe crankshaft, upper & lower seals & related bearing housing gaskets. What year is your motor?

Mercury parts revolve around the serial number, rather than a model year. Sometimes you can get away without it and sometimes you get burned without it. Maybe I can help, with a serial number. A three cylinder that needs a power head? Say it ain’t so. (I think every one of them either needs, or will need, a power head. I don’t know why. They have the power of a fifty.

          Long live American manufacturing!
