Reprotint paint QC

I bought 2 cans of Dull Aluminum to start and realized it wasn’t going to be enough . So ordered 2 more cans ..
Seems that one of the first 2 cans was off a shade . You can see it on the tip . I did notice that there was a label under the outer label but I could make out what it read and it read Dull Aluminum so didn’t think much of it at the time .. Anyone else have any trouble with there QC .. I had all the pieces in different areas so I never really noticed the difference until now .

Just noticed there is a Sea Horse emblem on the sticker under the outer sticker .
I guess somehow at there factory they screwed up . I guess The Johnson dull aluminum is different than the Evinrude .. 🤬

I use duplicator from the auto parts store, same color every can so far.

Ordered 1958 Holiday Bronze from my QD 19 from them once.
Label read 1958, but paint was actually the darker 1957 shade of Holiday Bronze.

Never had any trouble with paint color or shade that I ordered from North York Marine, even when I had to order additional cans after running a little short on the initial order.

Well they wont sell to Canadians so I wouldn’t know.

Never had an issue with NYMarine paint though.

I haven’t contacted them yet . I’ve been camping the last few days .
Gunna call them Monday and see if they would send me a couple cans so I can make it match .IMHO should be at no charge ..
I did get it off there Ebay store if that makes a difference .
It was just easier using PayPal ..
