I have a 1929 Johnson, 2 1/2 horse power outboard motor. It is housed in the original suitcase is was manufactured for. I reached out to Bombardier seeking to find out its value. They, in turn, recommended that I reach out here to seek information on its value. I am the second owner of this motor. The motor comes with all the original booklets that came with it. Can anyone give me an idea of it’s value?
It might be a 1928 A-35 model as that was the only 2.5 horse motor Johnson made back then. The model and serial numbers will be stamped on top of the flywheels rope sheave.
