      Hi All
What type of paint would you reccomend for repainting the above motor.
I used Acrylic Lacquer on my 1947 Scott Atwater rebuild years back, but wondered if another type would be better these days.

      Thanks again for your help

        Monte,
I use enamel with a clear coat . Seems to hold up decent and easy to apply if you follow the recoat instructions and cure times.
My projects are basically just junk when I get them. 🤪

Thanks Rusted Junk for your reply…….those photos say it all!
What a finish and the decals set it off beautifully!
The enamel with the clear coat is certainly streets ahead of my effort with lacquer.
I presume that when fully cured it will stand up to fuel spills ok?

            Thanks again
