I made a video showing how I restore my ELTO ignition coils. I didn’t invent this method. Tubs and others gave me lots of tips back when I was restoring my first early ELTO. Since then I’ve rebuilt several of these coils. People often ask how I do it so I decided to make this video as a way of giving back.

Great video. I have a 1925 Elto Model C on the bucket
list, that I’m sure will need this coil rebuild……
just make sure you keep this video up for a couple
of years! 🙂

Thanks Wayne, thanks to Tubs too. I’ve got 2 that need it and I’ve got the coils waiting on the bench. Now that one elusive thing, time, need more of that.
Wayne, that was an excellent video!!! Hopefully when we get our library in the inner sanctum up and going, members can supply wonderful step by step videos to help us all.
Wayne, that was an excellent presentation, very clear and easy to understand. Just one question, can you provide specific info on the coil that you used?
Excellent video indeed, Wayne! Once I get my Model C unstuck, I’ll be doing this coil rebuild. I have a few other projects in front of it but it’s getting closer.
