Anyone that can’t open this attachment.  Try a right click on the attachment then click on open in a new tab.  It worked for me!  Travis will get this fixed one of these days.

A couple safety switches might prevent child abuse charges!

Interesting idea!  I’m glad my Dad didn’t make one of those when I was a teenager.  Back than, myself and other teens who also had cabins on our lake did everything you shouldn’t do in a boat!  We just did it in another bay where our parents couldn’t see us.  Boating rules came around in Minnesota around 1960, and it didn’t take long for us kids to be on first name basis with the county deputy that was sent out for boating complaints.   I disagree that it cannot harm an engine.  Cutting the ignition off and on again can cause a backfire, especially on the inboards they mentioned,  which can be damaging.   On a car, I once had a backfire blow a muffler wide open at the seam when I had an intermittent ignition problem.

well Martin Stockel must be RIP now…his invention was likely more intended for small cd ad qd stuff.  works like the kill button on their magnetos.
