      Thanks for info. I understand there are two? Is it necessary to replace both .

        Not unless you want to use the bailer option. I think some guys have tried it by removing the one impeller but for this ’56 7.5, I made up an aluminum hockey puck to fill the bailer impeller cavity and plugged all of the unnecessary holes. Now it runs cool and pumps like a fire truck.

          That is an excellent idea. I talked to Brian and I remember now why I used the honda impeller he was the one that told me to use it because their tough and available for like 18 bucks a piece. Those impellers take a beating so I would like to try and do the hockey puck on mine which has a honda impeller conversion in it now and on the Firestone I am currently working on. I will put a honda impeller in the firestone as-well. Would you be interested in making me a couple of the hockey pucks? I would gladly pay you.
