Hi All, Just picked up a Scott Atwater 1-30 16 HP at auction for $50.00. I even got the controls too. My serial number is 51901988. So I think that makes it a 1951 . Anyone know where I can get the proper parts / service manual? Thanks , Matt.

Thank you thank you thank you! ( I feel like Gomer) This really helps a lot. Took the covers off and found NGK A-6 plugs. Had spark on #1 cylinder. Pulled the fly wheel. Coils are toast. Originals. So now , I”m on the hunt for the usual suspects. The motor looks like it’s from outer space. So cool. Can’t wait to run it on the lake next year. Again, Thanks for the help!

I have one of those locked up though. I may have a service manual on cd. I will have to check. I think these are cool motors also. They are built like a tank. With the controls is special. If I can figure a way to contact you by direct email I might can get you to a manual or a link to dropbox might work better.
                    Regards

The driveshaft on those is very unusual; various pieces connected together. When (if) you get it apart…..I’d like it if you could post some pictures of the driveshaft?
                      Thanks, Chuck
