      If the number is on the decal that may explained
      why I couldn’t find it. There is no hurry. Just when
      ever its convenient and thanks for responding

      A "Boat House Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

        Tubs, the serial number on mine is a metal tag on
        the transom mount. I had mine cataloged as a single
        cylinder, but it appears to have turned into a twin!
        Couple of photos here, but will email you more.

          Tubs, here’s a link to a restored Sea King (same model number as mine)
          that sold at auction. Looks like they put the instruction decal
          in the wrong place. Had I known mine could look that nice,
          I might have started working on it by now!

            I think the one I had must have been earlier as
            it had tubes rather than a cast tower but that
            hinge looking deal is exactly the same as mine.
            Your thoughts as to its purpose. Did they come
            with carrying handle that went there?
