Picked up subject motor at Tomahawk. It’s a 5-3/4 hp
      twin opposed. Model 571.24
Wondering if anyone has digital info on this 1941 model?
      Manuals, etc.
Curious about the little two prong plug in on the front,
that I’m told was for boat lights. Does the mag have
some kind of separate lighting coil?
      Thanks.

If you want to run any dc powered devices off that, a bridge retifier should be able to convert that ac to dc. Light bulbs it shouldn’t matter. Do you have the recoil cover? There is a disc shaped piece on the center of the cover that i don’t have on mine.

Is this the disc you’re missing?
I’d love to see the owner manual on one of these motors and see just what it said
              about the light plug in.

That’s the one. Is there a chance you could take a picture of that and measure the diameter? I could probably make a copy or two.

Will try to get a good photo from directly above, with dimensions.

I bought the Waterwitch from a fellow at Tomahawk going by “Starvin Marvin”.
He had two other Waterwitch’es the same. I grabbed the nicest
one. Can’t remember if either of the others had the medallion you’re
                  looking for.

Thank you very much. It shouldn’t be difficult to make a couple of these. Are these plastic or metal?
