I know there is a common substitute for the mid 50’s smaller OMC motors shift handle “O” rings, but for the life of me I can’t find my notes.
Can someone please tell me the number for this “O” ring. As close as I can measure it: OD= 0.432″ ID= 0.338″ and CS= 0.092″
I used all of mine up and can’t locate the number.
      Thanks,
      Drifter

Measure the shifter shaft and see if it is 7/16″ (.437) as I think it is. That would make the o-ring 5/16 ID x 7/16 OD x 1/16 CS. I’d go out and measure one, but it’s pouring rain.
