Anyone know which company would offer the best price and service?
I’m thinking of FedEx as I have had good results inside N.America with them in the past.
East coast to Netherlands. Have a FedEx terminal at the airport here.

Also any comments on packing containers would be appreciated, don’t want any broken parts as they will be difficult to replace.

I don’t know about carriers, but make sure you package the motor really well, maybe wrap it in bubble wrap and cushion it with styrofoam and take extra care around the ends since it will probably have a rough ride.

Ask your buyer, but I would seriously consider disassembling the powerhead from the tower and backing separately. An outboard, especially a larger one is sort of like a bowling ball with a broom stick attached… hard to protect in packing.

The last parts I sent to europe went USPS. They have some fancy name for it like "global", or "International". It was half of Fedex/UPS pricing.
