Common-garden o-rings used by OMC are Buna-N, 70 durometer. I bought them by the thousands every month when I worked at the hydraulics mfg plant. They were used to seal straight oil, ATF, Aircraft hydraulic fluid, anti-freeze and water in our applications, pressures 0 up to 2000 PSI..
