Would the “Sparky” style spark plug wire boots be original for a 1950 Speeditwin?
If not, when did they start using them?

Just brass ring terminals but use what you like Tom.

Thanks, I was just kind of “curious” about those boots.

I find the boots first listed in parts books in 1952

Boots were an option at least as far back as the 1930’s so it wouldn’t be strange to find one with boots. They would be dealer added or otherwise aftermarket.

Not sure what brand the boots are, but it says “Twist” and under
there’s a arrow pointing to “On and Off”.
They’re not cracked, so guessing they’re no original.
