Anyone ever seen terminals like these?  They came with some ZhongFaTec coils I bought off Amazon.PXL_20241023_180351758

I figured it out and nipped one of the prongs off. They sure are a lot thinner gauge than the originals. About .034 vs .050.PXL_20241023_184840673

Thinner gage wire… think maybe the two prongs are to compensate for pull out strength. Why not just go with the two prongs?

agree with  joecb…. I would sharpen up both  “points”  to ease the installation.

install the boot  on the plug wire / slip it  out to install  the spring   then pull it back in  carefully

I have had good success pushing the terminated wire end into the boot, if the boot is stiff, warm it by soaking in hot water.

Two prongs were probably meant to help keep the terminal from coming off the wire but installing it would have been beyond my capabilities.  The first time I pulled the boot off the plug, the new terminal got left behind still attached to the plug. Using the original terminals seemed the logical choice so that’s what I did.
