I had a couple props rehubbed in Morgan city at Johnnys propeller . Don’t remember the price but it seemed to be about 50 dollars a few years ago. I will watch the videos and try to replace them myself if I can find the hubs. First time here in a while I hope I can navigate here. I will learn in time, šŸ™‚

You should use installation thimbles along with a press. Squeezing the hubs in without using the thimbles can damage them.

Might be better just letting the pros do it. Maybe a member here can do a video on replacing the hubs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m curious – what does a installation thimble look like?
I googled and could not fin a picture.

I think it’s actually called an installation cone. My prop guy called it a thimble once so I do to. It’s tapered and guides the rubber hub into the prop.
