The Starling P500 was made by Production Research of Minneapolis Indiana and used a 5 horse power Clinton engine.Produced from 1965 through 1968, it came as standard propeller or as a jet drive. The motor was red lined at 6,500 RPM but 5,000 RPM was recommended. I didn’t think much of the Clinton engine. It was just a noisy lawn mower in my book. Good Luck with it.
Thanks. I bought it because it is a jet drive and I had never seen one. I want to run it but I need to look at the gas hose fitting. I may have to jury rig a different connection.
